Tomato Chicken Curry
Tomato Chicken curry is a simple, easy, and delicious cuisine that requires very little effort and ingredients. Well, some days ago one of my relatives arrived suddenly at home. Then I had no hint of what to cook and that can be delicious as well as healthy.
Then I learned about this recipe from Google, which was not only cooked easily, but it served really well. The taste and aroma were exemplary.
It requires chicken pieces, which should not be bigger, ground spices, ghee or purified butter, tomato pieces, or puree. The procedure to make tomato chicken curry is very simple – heat ghee, then add ground spices, fry it. Then add chicken and tomatoes with it, cook, and serve with naan or roti.

Tomato Chicken Curry
Notes
Utilize ghee instead of vegetable oil for a better taste.
Use ground spices instead of powder spices.
Ingredients
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Vegetable Oil – 3 tbsp
- Ginger – garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Chicken – 1 kg (2 inches long pieces)
- Green Chili – 3-4 (slit into half)
- Tomato – 2 (chopped or puree)
- Fried Onions – 1/2 cup
- Red Chili Powder – 3 tsp
- Salt – as required
- Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Fresh Coriander – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- Aloo paratha tastes better with the serving of mango pickle, curd, and jam.
- At first, heat ghee and some oil in a pan or kadhai.
- Then add ginger and garlic paste and saute for few seconds. After that add cumin seeds and fry with the paste.
- Now add chicken and fry for 3-4 minutes and then add green chili, tomato, and fried onions.
- Then add red chili powder, salt, and garam masala and cook until the chicken is done.
- At last, add some chopped coriander and serve with naan or chapati.
